New level and nice surprises......

Well, today I attained a new level in my workout, and right on time, concerning when I would like to peak in terms of performance, as competitions will start soon. I leg pressed 900lbs today, 3 times alone and one assisted so I am really happy about that....1000lbs is coming for the month of October. See, these skinny tree trunks have some serious power in them now. It's amazing when you push yourself, what you can actually accomplish....I never pushed this kind of weight when I was 18, 20, or 25 years old.....bring on the young-uns!!
For the month of Septmeber, I started leg pressing with two legs cause the weight was getting heavier. Once I reached 540lbs single leg press, it was time to really power up both legs at the same time so I could push more weight....I have just one more month of this heavy stuff, then I will fall back onto medium maintenance stuff while competing.
A couple of days ago, I also had a nice surprise from my in-laws...Mr. and Mrs. 'T'. They came by the house and Mr. T, my vodka partner, plopped down $500 and said "gimme 25 t-shirts, I have been selling in Montreal"....well what a nice surprise...that meant two shots of vodka that day. As you can tell, my relationship with my in-laws is not a scary one, they are real cool!! I really appreciated his efforts to help me out. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. T.
