Just wondering what the difference is between race runners and the ones you used recently in Calgary? Do you use the slower ones so that you can get used to the track and get a better feel for how it flows?
Also, when are the next race events that you will be in?
Cheers from the USA.

Feels good to be back on the ice Tim...almost forgot how exhilirating it is...love the g's.

As for the runners...there are new FIBT runners this year that everyone must have...it is a way that they control the metal used for runners. When it comes from one source, everyone has the same, so practice runners are really any runners you had before these new runners. Also, you don't really want to practice on your race runners just so you don't damage them or bend them or nick them...you want to be fast on race day. Cheers Dave!!
